The secret of the Ashleigh & Burwood Fragrance Lamp is the use of a specially designed catalytic stone to vaporise the fragrance. This purifies the air in 3 different ways:

Long-lasting and effctive room fragrance: the lamp is an excellent diffuser of fragrance, spreading it evenly and quickly throughout a room

Destroys bacteria and mould: the action of the catalytic stone destroys some bacteria and mould - this is the original technology introduced into French hospitals in the 19th century to help fight infection.

Removes odour molecules: odour molecules such as cigarette smoke and cooking odours are actually broken up by the action of the catalytic stone.
